Number one in points scored, that is. On Saturday LeBron had 39 points and 11 rebounds against the spurs. He only needs a little less than 1000 points to get past Kareem's 39 thousand record. Me personally I think he can do it within this season. He averages 25 so he only needs to play like 40 games to get past the record. This is monumentational news because the LeBron supporters will have more things to say about why he is better than Jordan. Another record LeBron might be about to pass is total assists. Magic Johnson has the 6th most assists ever, but LeBron is 20 assists away from passing that.

One last record LeBron is about to hit is 900 career regular season games won. He will join the club of Kareem, Robert Parish, Dirk, and Karl Malone.
